At your appointment, we will explain the healing process very thoroughly. Here’s a reminder to help calm the rollercoaster of emotions during the brow healing process. If you’ve had your brows done before, you know exactly what we’re talking about.
The entire process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body’s regeneration and age.
What should I Expect?
- DAY 1: Brows will be red with possible swelling. This will go away within 24 hours! The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not settled in completely. The colour of the pigment will soften gradually.
- DAY 2-5: Eyebrows get darker as scabs develop.
- DAY 5-7: Scabbing begins to crack and fall off, let them fall off naturally! DO NOT PICK THEM. DO NOT RUB THEM! They may be itchy 7 days post your procedure. The flakes will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This is a superficial colour and dry skin is naturally removed.
- DAY 8-14: Scabs have fallen off and colour appears very light because of natural; skin regeneration. I call this the ghosting stage. This may give you the impression that the colour is fading too quickly. Don’t freak out and trust the process!
- DAY 15-30: Brows get darker day by day and soften into a natural powder-like brow.
- 4-8 WEEKS: Schedule your top-up appointment to bring them to perfection.
